Navigate Life with Balance and Purpose
My name is John Michael and I’m a proud husband and dad to two college aged sons, and a National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach who helps young adults build the habits and life skills they need to thrive through big transitions.
For over 20 years, I led large sales organizations and developed talent in the corporate world.
Behind the scenes, it was a different story. I was running on fumes.
Stress, poor self-care, and quiet burnout were taking a real toll on my health, energy, and sense of purpose.
I knew something had to change.
I immersed myself in studying health, the science of habit change, and personal development. I enrolled at the University of North Texas Health Science Center and earned a Master of Science in Lifestyle Health Sciences and Coaching.
I also became a Wellcoaches®-trained Health & Well-Being Coach and later achieved the National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach (NBC-HWC) credential.
As I began applying these principles in my own life, everything started to shift:
-
My energy returned
-
My focus and balance improved
-
I reconnected with my faith and gained clarity about what truly matters
I realized how deeply the health of our body, mind, and spirit fuels every part of life—work, relationships, purpose, and resilience. And I found myself wishing I had learned and applied these habits much earlier.
At the same time, through guiding my own sons into college and mentoring high school students, I saw the same pattern emerging in the next generation:
bright, capable young adults stepping into huge transitions without the foundational habits and tools needed to sustain their well-being and success.
That’s when my One Purpose became clear:
To help young adults build foundational healthy habits and real-world life skills that support long-term success—in college, career, and life.
If you’re ready to support a young adult in your life (or yourself) through a major transition with more clarity, structure, and support, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
Let’s work together to create a healthier, successful path forward.
My name is John Michael, and I’m the proud husband and father of two young men. I’ve been very blessed to achieve a successful business career that has enabled me to coach and develop talent. As I was balancing my time between raising a family and moving up the corporate ladder, I began to realize that despite the success I was achieving on the surface, my lifestyle was not optimized for long-term success. I was not taking great care of myself physically or mentally and often found myself stressed and anxious.
As I became more self-aware of my shortcomings, I also noticed how others were struggling with their health and well-being. I researched the pillars of a healthy lifestyle and discovered the numerous benefits available if I could just learn how to adopt those pillars consistently. I knew I needed to prioritize self-care and then discovered a graduate program at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, TX, that focused on Lifestyle Health Science and Coaching. I enrolled in the program and earned a Master of Science degree, becoming certified as a health and well-being coach through Wellcoaches. I continued to train as a coach and earned the esteemed National Board-Certified Health and Wellness Coach distinction.
As I began to practice and implement all that I had learned about the pillars of a healthy life, I recommitted to my faith through daily prayer. Humbling myself and committing to my faith strengthened me in ways greater than I could ever have imagined. I was more energized, aware of my emotions, had improved balance in my life, and found myself more focused and ready to achieve my professional and personal goals.
As the dots were now connected, I discovered how the interconnectedness of spirit, mind, and body profoundly impacts one’s overall health.
I found my one purpose and had clarity in my life.
