Clarity. Confidence.
Master Life’s Next Chapter.
Build the habits, systems, and structure you need to navigate life’s biggest changes with purpose and success. The transition from high school to college – or college to career – is one of the most demanding shifts a young adult will face.
At One Purpose Wellness, we provide personalized life coaching for college students and high school seniors, helping them build the clarity, habits, and systems they need to thrive before, during, and after the transition through personalized life transition coaching.
Wellness Coach Dallas for Life & College Transitions
Life transitions aren’t just schedule changes—they’re identity shifts, and the first‑year of college can feel like being handed a new life without instructions. Consider the reality facing incoming students:
- 72% report high stress (ACHA‑NCHA)
- 47% feel they don’t belong (Gallup‑Lumina)
- 30% don’t return after year one (National Student Clearinghouse Research Center)
Suddenly you’re managing more with less support: sleep becomes inconsistent, meals turn into whatever’s easiest, workouts vanish, and stress runs the show. When sleep, movement, nutrition, recovery, and connection slide, clarity fogs, discipline wavers, and confidence erodes. Transitions don’t fail because you’re lazy—they fail because your internal structure wasn’t built for the new season.
We build customized plans around five pillars—stress management, exercise, sleep, nutrition, and social connection—so students replace adrenaline and willpower with aligned habits, systems, and support through healthy habit coaching. The result: you move forward with confidence, not chaos.

What Kind of Transitions do We Help With?
High School → College
First year struggles are common. This is often the first major transition into independence. The safety nets of home and school are removed, while freedom and responsibility arrive simultaneously.
Research underscores the challenge: the ACHA-NCHA III survey shows that 72% of first-year students experience moderate to serious psychological distress, and Gallup-Lumina reports that only 53% strongly feel they belong on campus.

College → Professional World
The transition from student to professional introduces higher expectations and fewer instructions. Performance is no longer measured by grades, but by consistency, judgment, and reliability.
Many graduates feel unprepared when entering the workforce. A recent post Graduation Readiness report found that nearly 72% of recent graduates report feeling only moderately, slightly, or not at all prepared for postgraduation life.
Professional Reset
You appear successful on paper, but feel misaligned, stagnant, or uncertain about what comes next. Often, what was gratifying to you as you were climbing the ladder just isn’t as important.
The systems that once worked are no longer sufficient for current responsibilities or goals.
You aren’t sure what is next and know you need a reset.

The 3-Step Solution: Our Transition Framework
Regardless of age or stage, successful transitions rely on the same core elements:
When health, clarity, and structure are aligned, transitions become periods of growth rather than instability.
We customize this framework to meet your goals, obstacles, and deepest life transition needs.
How Coaching Works
Coaching is structured, practical, and action-oriented. We move quickly from insight to
execution so progress is visible and measurable.
What to expect:
- A focused conversation to clarify your current transition and goals
- Identification of the habits and systems that need to be rebuilt first
- A clear next-step plan to create momentum immediately
Take the First Step
If you are navigating a meaningful transition, the most important move is to create clarity early.
A private conversation is not a commitment—it’s a working session to assess fit, surface blind spots and determine whether coaching will meaningfully accelerate your progress.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is life transition coaching?
Life transition coaching is a structured, goal-focused coaching relationship that helps individuals navigate major life changes – such as the high school-to-college transition, college-to-career shift, or a professional reset. We work on clarity, daily habits, wellbeing, and the practical systems that determine long-term success.
Who is One Purpose Wellness for?
We primarily serve high school seniors preparing for college, current college students, new graduates entering the workforce, and professionals navigating a career or life reset. We serve students and families throughout Dallas, Fort Worth, and the DFW Metroplex – and are available virtually nationwide.
How is life coaching different from therapy?
Therapy focuses on healing past trauma and mental health treatment. Life coaching is forward-focused – we work on goals, habits, and systems to help you perform and thrive in your next chapter. Coaching is not a substitute for mental health treatment.
Do you offer virtual coaching?
Yes. All coaching sessions are conducted virtually, one hour each week, at a time that works for your schedule. This means no commute, no scheduling friction, and full flexibility for students away at school.
When should I hire a college transition coach for my child?
Ideally before their first semester begins – so they arrive with structure and confidence already in place. The program is also highly effective for college seniors preparing to enter the workforce. If your student is struggling right now, it is never too late to start.
How long is the program?
We offer two options: 3 months (12 sessions) or 6 months (24 sessions). All sessions are held virtually, one hour each week.
